A digital twin is a representation of a real object into a digital environment accurate enough to simulate properties of the real instance. It is use on the heavy industry for years and now this project wants to bring it closer to the usual consumer.
Echo wants to take the representations of cities and digital data that can be involved such as weather, water level, population, public transportation, natural disasters, social media, etc. and merge them together in a virtual hub where you can create scenarios to help you take informated decisions before events can happen through simulation and interaction between data sets.
My role in this project was as a conceptual UI Designer, working in preproduction and a small amount in 3D production.
I helped developed the final version for the branding and their brand system so it could be consistent with their values and existing design system.
